The Company

Auger Contracts Ltd is an expert and specialist schoolroom builder based in the north of England, providing services nationally. We provide a complete classroom construction service, from design through the build phase to final fittings. We have experience working in libraries, nurseries, primary and secondary schools. Whether you are a small nursery or a large PCT (primary care trust), we are able to work with you to present a compelling vision of improved care services.

Our classroom furniture is a well thought out mix between off the shelf and bespoke – in all cases fully accessible to those with special needs. This allows Auger Construction’s class room constructors to provide customised solutions that fully meet briefs at the most reasonable price point.

With experience in procuring interactive learning enhancements, we are able to advise on issues such as the choice of interactive whiteboards, fume cupboards and more. We are constructionline accredited and are constantly working on improving our service provision. Please check back frequently as we hope to be able to announce further accreditation soon.

Laboratories

Science laboratories (be they chemistry, physics or biology) have particular requirements and considerations. Having worked throughout the education sector we are ideally placed to advice on their construction. Our prior experience with all forms of gas tap, fume cupboards and other equipment means that we have unrivalled knowledge of which suppliers provide durable, usable products. Working to the highest safety guidelines and regulations we provide labs that inspire class after class.

Class Rooms

Our classrooms can be designed to suit the needs of your school. Taking in to account the type, age and size of the classes to be undertaken in those rooms we know how durable surfaces need to be. This allows us to provide a cost effective solution to schools requiring any form of building work.

Out Staff

All our staff are fully CRB checked and trained to work within educational institutions. They understand the importance of allowing classes to continue without disruption or distraction.

We work expeditiously to your timeline. A new science lab can be completed in under a month, whilst an IT room can be fully equipped in under a week.

    Office Manager

    Michelle organises and supervises all of the administrative activities that facilitate the running of Auger Contracts, a role which encompasses health & safety and HR administration. She is also your first port of contact within the company.

    Julie's role is the management of Auger's financial and reporting systems. This involves maintaining and implementing procedures to efficiently comply with statutory and regulatory requirements, including preparing for audits, producing annual reports and supporting project accounting systems.

    Karen is responsible for increasing awareness and understanding of Auger Contracts and its activities using a range of marketing tools including publications, websites, partnerships, PR and promotional materials.
